Professionally tune your engine with complete confidence. The new gauge utilizes Innovate’s patented 100% digital wideband technology that is faster and more accurate than analog designs. To put this into perspective, at 8000rpm the Digital MTX gauge will see a change in air/fuel ratio 24 revolutions of the crankshaft sooner than all other gauges on the market! Several new features have also been added to the gauge design including an integrated wideband controller for simplified installation. By integrating the wideband controller within the gauge, the 02 sensor can now be plugged directly to the gauge via the 8 foot long interface cable. The R&D RXP Impeller Nose Cone is an inexpensive and creative bolt on part that adds extended length over the O.E.M. plastic pump cones length, which will reduce cavitation while adding additional pump thrust. RXP Anti-Cavitation Cone

The R&D RXP Anti-Cavitation Pump Cone Kit will reduce overall internal pump cavitation within the Sea-Doo’s offset reduction/compression nozzle design. The O.E.M. reduction/compression nozzle is offset, while the O.E.M. pump cone/bearing cap remains straight which causes uneven pressures within the pump and reduction nozzle. The R&D High Performance Exhaust Manifold Extender Adaptor Kit (X-TENDER) is a creative and unique product that was designed and developed while testing the R&D Superclutch and new R&D/Vortech high performance compressor wheels. The Sea-Doo supercharger and exhaust systems parts and “J” pipe are extremely difficult to get to and handle when they are extremely hot, and the exhaust systems “J” pipe that must be removed can be tricky on a cold engine. R&D needed to be able to remove and replace the supercharger in five minutes to be able to test products back to back in a timely manner, as well as the same day for accurate testing data. The R&D Exhaust X-Tender Kit allows the exhaust to be extended 1.5 inches which will move the water muffler back 1.5 inches creating enough room to be able to change out a supercharger (Hot) in 5 minutes. No more hassling with extremely hot exhaust pipes, water mufflers and V-band clamps! The X-TENDER kit installs easily using an additional V-band clamp. RXP Supercharger Surge Protector Kit - Now Available

The R&D Surge Protector Kit will significantly improve supercharger clutch and compressor wheel performance and reliability by eliminating compressor surge. Compressor surge is defined as the negative charge of pressure that causes turbulence in the supercharger that occurs during aggressive of off-throttle operations. When the throttle valve is abruptly closed at high rpms, the engine decelerates quickly down from 8,000 rpms, however the supercharger is compressing air (creating boost) as the supercharger has to decelerate from 42,000 rpms. This turbulence is the primary cause of undue stress on the supercharger clutch system and its components. The R&D surge protection kit utilizes an automotive vacuum assisted Bosch pressure blow off valve that automatically releases the unwanted intake pressure between the closed throttle valve and the supercharger. As soon as the throttle valve is opened, the blow off valve immediately closes and the compressor can supply its full boost potentials to the engine.

Manufactured from high-temperature silicone hose with an integrated molded riser for the blow off valve to function without hindering intake flow or velocity. The R&D kit Installs easily in place of the OEM rubber intake elbow joint. This kit is a very necessary and cost effective up-grade for all Sea-Doo supercharged watercraft. The R&D High Performance Supercharger Clutch Washer Kit is a direct replacement upgrade for the factory BRP O.E.M. ceramic clutch washers. The O.E.M. ceramic clutch washers are very fragile and prone to fracture and disintegrate, which can result in costly engine damages due to the broken ceramic parts entering into the engines oil pump, oiling system, and being pumped through the engine. The R&D High Performance Clutch Kit is manufactured from a high strength, wear resistant bronze alloy material that has a yield strength of 32,000 psi plus, and a Rockwell hardness of B95. R&D High Performance Titanium Retainers

R&D High Performance Titanium Retainers are a must add kit where engine RPM frequencies are sustained over 8350 on Sea-Doo Rotax engines using the stock valve springs such as the Pro Stock Class where stock valve springs must be used. The R&D Retainers will fight against valve float in aggressive water conditions where engine over rev situations elevated. The R&D Titanium Retainers are 500 grams lighter than O.E.M. retainers and considerably stronger. R&D Retainers are designed to properly preload the O.E.M. spring slightly over stock to raise the seat and full lift spring tension which will increase valve control and help to reduce valve float. The R&D Titanium Retainer Kit is designed mainly to work with a stock camshaft and stock valve springs, or camshaft lift specs that are not over .350 lift at the valve. Note: For camshaft lift specifications over .350, or when Race Engine RPM range is increased to the 8700-9200 range, R&D suggests moving up to the Pro Series Racing Retainer and Spring Kit for increased valve control.

R&D Titanium Retainers and Valve Springs

R&D Pro Series Racing Titanium Retainers and Valve Springs are a must when engine RPM frequencies are sustained over 8650 on Sea-Doo Rotax engines in racing conditions. The R&D Racing Valve Springs and Retainers will fight against valve float in aggressive water conditions where engine over rev situations elevated. The R&D Titanium Retainers are 500 grams lighter than O.E.M. retainers and considerably stronger. R&D Dual Springs are designed to properly preload the seat and full lift spring tensions to racing specifications which will increase valve control and help to reduce valve float. The R&D Kit is designed to work with camshafts with lift specs that range between .350-.400 lift at the valve.

Note: For Race Engine RPM’s that are in the 8650-9200 PRM range.

R&D valves will flow 1.5 CFM more over stock valves with R&D’s race proven back cut seats and high flow undercut stems. Each R&D Valve is a one piece forged design from only the highest grades of stainless steel with a 52 HRC hardened tip for maximum strength that has a nitrite surface coating for superior wear hardness and reduced carbon buildup. R&D Engine Thermostat and Intercooler Cooling Kit

The R&D Engine Thermostat and Intercooler Cooling Kit is one stop shopping to solve several big issues with the OEM cooling system. Engine temperatures on a RXP 260 engine with performance upgrades can reach 190-195 degrees with the stock cooling system. The R&D Kit changes out the stock thermostat for a new cooler 160 degree thermostat. The R&D Kit also separates and re-routes the “intercooler out” and “engine out” water lines to allow less restriction and more water to flow through both the engines exhaust system and the intercooler which promotes cooler exhaust temperatures as well as reducing intake air temperatures. The R&D Kit also includes two new 1/2 inch water bypass fittings for the intercooler in and out lines, one to be used with the kit included high pressure relief valve, and one for the new intercooler water out line. The R&D “high pressure” relief valve will protect the intercooler from being broken due to high water pressure spikes. Cooler engine temperatures, cooler intake air temperatures, and cooler exhaust temperatures all add up to a noticeable RPM and top speed gain.

The R&D Engine Thermostat Kit is designed to lower the engine operating temperature. Engine temperatures on a Sea-Doo 260 engine with performance upgrades can reach 190-195 degrees with the stock cooling system. Sea-Doo RXP Powershot Adjustable Fuel Tuner - Now Available

R&D Performance Products, U.S.A. announces the release of the new R&D Powershot fuel injection tunning module and fuel controller. The R&D Powershot fuel injection tuner will deliver increased horsepower, acceleration, and stronger mid-range performance by delivering a higher performing air to fuel ratio (A.F.R.) to the engine. Many of today’s high performance fuel injected four stroke muscle craft have a lean A.F.R. R&D Performance has tested, documented, and analyzed the O.E.M. fuel maps on every current fuel injected four stroke watercraft, and pre-programmed and coded the new R&D Powershot fuel injection control module to safely alter the O.E.M. fuel map to a higher performing and safer A.F.R. Universal bypass rising rate fuel pressure regulator for EFI fuel systems applications. Base fuel pressure is adjustable from 20 to 60 PSI with high pressure spring (installed). Ideal for EFI bypass applications where more flow and superior pressure control are desired. R&D offers high performance Coast Guard approved fuel hose that can be purchased by the foot (PT#611-27502), as well as the Otekier style clamps (Pt#611-27518).

The universal type bypass style regulator is capable of handling any fuel pump up to 250 GPH. The R&D line up of High Performance Fuel Pumps are “ANY FUEL FRIENDLY”. Yes, the new R&D High Performance Fuel Pumps are 100 % E-85 compatible. R&D Fuel Pumps kits are set up specifically to fit the Sea-Doo fuel pump housing and are offered in a variety of flow ratings to facilitate from basic low cost replacement to an all out 600 H.P. race machine. All R&D fuel pumps are precision flow rate tested and charted in (LPH) liters per hour. The new R&D 340 Racing Fuel Pump will outperform traditional old school fuel pumps with its internal turbine design by flowing 25 percent more fuel at 43 pounds of fuel pressure.

R&D Fuel Pumps fit all Sea-Doo Fuel Pickup Assembly’s from 2005 up/All Models. E-85 Fuel setups will require the R&D 340 LPH Fuel Pump as a base requirement.

R&D recommends the addition of the R&D Fuel Pump Relay Switch Kit (PT. # 813-35100) for all Sea-Doo high performance builds. High volume fuel pumps and rising rate fuel system set ups will have a higher amp draw over stock. The OEM Sea-Doo ECU will produce a “Limp Home” situation as a result of higher than stock amp draw. The R&D Fuel Pump Relay Kit will allow any high volume fuel pump use, at any fuel pressure, without adverse “Limp Home” Limitations.

R&D Fuel Pump Relay Kit

The R&D stand alone “Plug and Play” Fuel Pump Relay Kit will add better overall engine performance to any model Sea-Doo 4-tec four stroke engine regardless of modification level.

Most all High Performance fuel injected cars, motorcycles, four wheelers, ATV’s all have a fuel pump relay system that is “fuel pump specific”. The Sea-Doo does not! Sea-Doo Fuel Pump grounding comes straight from the ecu and power is bus bar shared with up to 10 other devices. The Sea-Doo fuel pump is not grounded via normal high performance specification.

Adding aftermarket fuel pressure regulator systems, fuel injectors, or replacement fuel pumps where any fuel tuning is needed, a higher amp draw will result and the likely possibility of amp draws which are higher than what the ECU evaluates can result in Limp Home situations or ECU damage.

Installing an R&D Fuel Pump Relay Kit will work to use the O.E.M. fuel pump wires as a power and ground source to activate the new stand alone relay. Power or battery (+) to operate the fuel pump will come directly from the battery, and a new grounding circuit will be created and will connect directly to the engines main grounding block. The new R&D Relay Kit will now retain the OEM 10 AMP fuse for the relay, and also carry a 30 AMP fuse which will handle any combination of fuel pressure load or volume of fuel pump.

All Sea-Doo Watercraft with the 4-tec engine package can benefit from this new R&D relay package whether box stock or full race modified. R&D 255 and 340 LPH Fuel Pump Kits will require the installation of a fuel pump relay kit and Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Systems should also use a Fuel Pump Relay.

The R&D Relay Kit utilizes water/corrosion proof connectors and terminals and installs with no splicing or cutting modifications to the existing harness. The R&D Fuel Pump Relay Kit installs quickly and easily in 10 minutes!

R&D Inline Fuel Pressure Gauge Adaptor

The R&D Fuel Pressure Gauge Adaptor Tool is designed to be a plug in fuel pressure gauge that needs no modifications to install and use. The adaptor installs inline between the O.E.M. fuel rail and the R&D RRFPR via the OEM connectors for easy connect and disconnect. Simply disconnect the O.E.M. locking fuel connector from the fuel rail and plug the gauge tool directly into the connector. Plug the locking connector supplied on the R&D tool onto the fuel rail and lock. Use the tool to verify fuel pressure and fuel pump condition. Use the tool to set and verify base fuel pressure settings on the R&D Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator (RRFPR). When finished, disconnect the tool and reconnect the stock fuel line. The R&D Tool works on all sea-Doo fuel systems. Installation time is only 2 minutes. Liquid filled fuel pressure gauge sold separately.
