The R&D Stage 3 Kit is very easy to install and is available at a reasonable retail price. Most parts in the Performer Kit can be used individually as a “stand alone” product. The R&D R3 ECU will unlock an additional 4 pounds of boost! R&D High Performance ECU Reprogramming Services
The R&D R3 ECU upgrade is one of the first performance upgrades that should be done to the RXP-X 300. The R&D R3 ECU allows maximum boost pressure to be reached by overriding the O.E.M. internal GPS speed control, as well as has a raised (R3 Spec) RPM Limiter segments, and slight ignition advancements. With 4 pounds of boost pressure over stock settings this will allow the Sea-Doo 300 engine to accelerate better and pull harder in the upper mid-range and top end with up to 12 mph speed gain. Whether you are a recreational enthusiasts or an offshore racers who is interested in more performance, the R&D R3 ECU Package is an absolute “Must Doo” Upgrade.

R&D Aquavein Intake Grate
The R&D RXP-X 300Aquavein Intake Grate kit will keep your Sea-Doo RXP-X’s pump loaded, hooked up, and off the rev limiter to improve handling and top speed performance. Improved straight-line stability and smoother, tighter turning capabilities will be noticed instantly. Top speed improvements of 2.5 -3.5 have been documented by R&D customers in both flat and rough water conditions. The R&D RXP-X Intake Grate’s Race Technology Inspired Wing concept will efficiently load the impellor/pump at all speed ranges to promote maximum acceleration performance.

R&D Pro Series 4” Air Filter Kit
The R&D RXP-X 300 Pro Series 4” Air Filter Kit was designed and developed exclusively for the new Sea-Doo RXP-X 300. The R&D 4” filter kit will unleash restricted low-end, mid-range and peak horsepower by entirely removing the OEM air filtration system and replacing it. The R&D Kit includes a huge 4” “ snap on” rubber velocity stack that allows large 4” Kanaflex flexible hose to be attached to the supercharger and cleanly run to the front of the hull to capture cooler air. The R&D Pro Series 4” Filter Kit has ZERO restriction to the supercharger through its oversized 5.5"x8" filter, which results in quicker acceleration and more power.

R&D Free Flow Exhaust Kit
The R&D Free-Flow Exhaust Kit eliminates the all plastic power robbing sound suppression system with a opened up and re-routed design allowing the exhaust to travel out of the water box with zero restriction and back pressure. The R&D Kit also allows some degree of inside lean handling performance the RXP-X 300 needs! Re-Pitched O.E.M Impeller
NOTE: O.E.M. Sea-Doo Impeller is a 4 Blade 14/20-21. R&D offers Pro Tuned Impeller services to the stock Impellor. Impeller services are 14/20, 14/19, and 14/18. Typical RPM gains are 100 up for every degree drop in pitch and speed gains typically are .5 to .75 MPH for each degree.

NOTE: R&D recommends the installation of an R&D RXT-X Surge Protection Kit offered, which will substantially reduce wear and tear on the O.E.M. supercharger clutch assembly. Automobiles with Turbo Chargers or Supercharges generally always include surge protection valves to protect the supercharger from harmful compressor surge. The R&D RXP-X Surge Protection Kit offered is Part # 613-95258.

NOTE: The R&D RXP-X300 Stage3kit development, tachometer, and top speed information posted was gathered after an initial 5-mile warm-up to stabilize engine temperatures. All testing was performed exclusively with Chevron 91 octane pump gasoline at 500 feet above sea level. Ambient air temperature during testing in March was between 75 and 85 degrees. These test results may change as we continue to gather data, and monitor O.E.M. stock boat speed averages, and production impeller consistencies. The information posted in the R&D Performer Kit are averages. In many cases we hear of feedback from Sea-Doo owners with performer kit packages reporting of higher speeds than posted.

R&D High Performance Titanium Retainers
R&D High Performance Titanium Retainers are a must add kit where engine RPM frequencies are sustained over 8350 on Sea-Doo Rotax engines using the stock valve springs such as the Pro Stock Class where stock valve springs must be used. The R&D Retainers will fight against valve float in aggressive water conditions where engine over rev situations elevated. The R&D Titanium Retainers are 500 grams lighter than O.E.M. retainers and considerably stronger. R&D Retainers are designed to properly preload the O.E.M. spring slightly over stock to raise the seat and full lift spring tension which will increase valve control and help to reduce valve float. The R&D Titanium Retainer Kit is designed mainly to work with a stock camshaft and stock valve springs, or camshaft lift specs that are not over .350 lift at the valve.

Note: For camshaft lift specifications over .350, or when Race Engine RPM range is increased to the 8700-9200 range, R&D suggests moving up to the Pro Series Racing Retainer and Spring Kit for increased valve control.
