Parts/Kit Overview

The R&D Yamaha GP 1300R Performer Kit was developed to improve overall handling, reduce pump cavitation, and increase top speed performance without engine modifications! The entire Performer Kit installs quickly and easily with basic hand tools.

  • The R&D GP 1300R Ride Plate is extended and re-angled over stock to reduce porpoising while adding top speed. The R&D GP 1300R ride plate is the only aftermarket design to dominate in Offshore, National, and World Championships, and to be used and endorsed by Factory Yamaha racing teams for 5 years!

  • The R&D Ride Plate Trim Pads are redesigned and extended over stock to reduce porpoising while adding top speed performance. Smoother high speed cornering
    Is also significantly enhanced.

  • The R&D Aquavein Intake Grate Kit will substantially reduce cavitation, increase overall handling, and add a 3 to 4 mph average top speed in choppy water conditions!

  • The R&D Pump Shoe Sealer kit was developed to quickly and easily fill the large casting pockets left in the Yamaha GP 1300Rís pump shoe inlet. Installing the R&D pump shoe sealer kit and resealing the pump shoe will reduce low and high-speed cavitation, which will increase overall pump performance and handling!

  • The R&D Anti-Cavitation Cone was developed to reduce low speed pump cavitation, which will increase acceleration and pump efficiency.

  • The R&D GP 1300R D-Plate was designed to replace the O.E.M. Catalizer system with a simple bolt on part. The R&D Catalizer Removal Plate increases overall performance and top speed, and allows you to use your choice of oils!

  • The R&D/Solas 13/19 impeller replaces the O.E.M. 4-blade impeller with a sleeker, better performing 3-blade design! Improved low-end response and increased top speed performance of 1 mph plus!

NOTE: To properly install the R&D Ride Plate, or use the Solas 13/19 Impeller, it will be necessary to install the R&D 87 mm GP Series Venturi Nozzle. Part # 162-13587

NOTE: Higher performing engines, and/or heavily carboned exhaust systems put out more exhaust heat, which may cause the O.E.M. Cat overheat warning sensor to activate prematurely. To deactivate the Cat overheat sensor, install the R&D Cat sensor chip. Part # 802-12001

NOTE: The O.E.M. power valves are manufactured from a cast aluminum material and are notorious for shearing or breaking after 40-50 hours, creating costly engine damage! R&D manufactures a redesigned 6061-T6 Billet aluminum power valve, and power valve lifter arm kit that adds low-end power, and assurance against breakage! Part # 332-13000

NOTE: The R&D Anti-Cavitation Cone will reduce overall pump cavitation, which will create greater low and mid-range pump thrust, which increases acceleration. Fine tuning to the steering nozzle angle adjustment can be done by lowering the steering nozzle angle by one degree down from the standard 90 degree (straight) position. This will help keep the GPR driving forward and flat under hard acceleration.

NOTE: For a full ten plus horsepower gain across the entire RPM range with an incredible boost in low end acceleration and performance, update the 03-04 GP1300R with the 2005 GP 1300R header pipe section and R&D Exhaust Power Sleeve! More horsepower with reduced detonation! The 2005 Yamaha GP1300R O.E.M. header pipe section is part # 60T-14712-10-94. The R&D 2005 Yamaha GP1300R Exhaust Power Sleeve is part # 332-13000.
